At Red Door, you’ll provide essential coverage for Shelter Support Workers, ensuring residents receive critical support and guidance. You will facilitate their integration into the community, manage daily operations, and enforce shelter regulations. Your contributions will help foster a safe and supportive environment essential for healing and rebuilding lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct emergency intakes and orient new residents

• Maintain contact and provide input on resident needs

• Advocate for residents' access to community services

• Enforce house rules and maintain cleanliness standards

• Document progress and issues in communication logs

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a relevant field

• 6 months to 1 year of support service experience

• Solid conflict resolution and organizational skills

• Hostel Training Certificate, including CPR and crisis intervention

• Updated criminal reference check and screening
