Location: East York, Ontario
Status: Full‑time, Permanent
Pay Rate: $60,325 per annum

Hours/
Shifts:
Monday to Friday: 9:00–5:00 or 11:00–7:00 pm (rotational on‑call duties)
Availability: Immediate
Key Responsibilities- Support the SLH leadership team to oversee day‑to‑day program operations, ensuring the home remains a safe, supportive environment.
- Manage staff schedules and provide financial and budgetary support.
- Coach and develop staff to achieve high performance and meet individual goals.
- Contribute to program development and implementation, including continuous improvement of services and delivery.
- Build relationships with community partners to leverage programs and services.
- Participate in fund‑development activities.
- Support case management: review progress in all life‑skills areas, develop Individual Support Plans, maintain documentation (e.g., Personal Outcome Measures, case notes, case‑conference minutes).
- Problem‑solve and provide support to staff or supported individuals on incidents or serious occurrences.
- Participate in meetings with families and supports in collaboration with the Case Manager.
- Post‑secondary diploma in Social Services, Social Work, or related field.
- Preferably 2years of experience in a leadership role, staff supervision, and staff scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience managing family dynamics and crisis situations.
- Direct experience engaging with diverse populations and applying a culturally responsive lens.
- Experience working from a harm‑reduction framework with supported individuals.
- Understanding of work‑life balance principles within a 24‑hour operational team.
- Strong leadership skills, excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and relationship building.
- Program planning, development, evaluation, and modification skills.
- Financial oversight – program budget, payroll, statistics, and record‑keeping.
- Leadership capacity to work creatively and effectively with individuals, families, organizations, and communities.
- Openness to feedback and constructive communication.
- Accountability, proactivity, and ownership of solutions.
- Conflict management, de‑escalation, and prevention.
- Effective time management and autonomy.
- Problem‑solving and collaboration with colleagues and senior staff.
- Critical thinking and conceptualization of responses.
- Empathy, integrity, and ethical principles.

- Knowledge of the Social Inclusion Act, 2008.
