Position: Full-Time Settlement Counsellor - Arabic

In this contract role, you'll be responsible for delivering vital settlement services to eligible newcomers, ensuring they receive the guidance necessary for successful integration into Canadian society.

Your role will involve providing solution-focused counseling, conducting needs assessments, and leading group sessions. Strong Arabic language proficiency is required to assist effectively in your duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver a full range of settlement services to newcomers

• Conduct thorough needs assessments and develop solutions

• Facilitate group sessions on settlement and integration

• Connect clients with available community resources

• Track client progress and follow up regularly
Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in Social Work/Counseling

• At least 3 years of experience with immigrant populations

• In-depth knowledge of local immigration services

• Proficiency in Arabic required

• Strong communication and outreach capabilities
