Position: Anti-Human Trafficking Support Worker Role
Join Native Child & Family Services of Toronto as a specialized Wholistic Support Worker focused on combating human trafficking. Empower and support Indigenous youth at risk with effective interventions and outreach.

This position will enable you to work collaboratively with survivors of sexual exploitation, providing culturally-informed support. You will engage in community outreach, develop workshops, and educate others about anti-trafficking efforts. The role prioritizes building strong relationships with community partners and addressing service gaps through creative programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Outreach to and support survivors of sexual exploitation

• Develop educational workshops for service providers

• Support community relationship building with stakeholders

• Facilitate group activities and circles for participants

• Maintain detailed case management documentation

Requirements:

• BSW degree and 1-2 years relevant experience

• Familiar with challenges faced by Indigenous communities

• Knowledge of harm reduction principles

• Strong advocacy and counseling skills

• Capacity to work evenings when needed
