Justice Access Navigator

Position: Justice Access Support Navigator Role
Join Jean Tweed Centre as a Justice Access Support Navigator, assisting women in navigating the Toronto Downtown East Justice Centre. Provide essential case management and empathetic support throughout their court process.

This position focuses on delivering personalized support to women engaged in the justice system, leveraging your knowledge of trauma-informed care and community resources. You'll collaborate with diverse partners and assist participants in overcoming barriers related to mental health and substance use. Engage in a holistic approach that addresses individual needs through community-based services and support systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive service plans based on client needs

• Coordinate with community providers for integrated support

• Offer intensive case management and goal planning

• Monitor client progress and maintain documentation

• Contribute to trauma-informed programming development

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or similar area

• Minimum 3 years in relevant social services field

• Proficiency in mental health and substance use best practices

• Experience in working with diverse populations

• Effective communication and crisis intervention abilities
