Position: Trauma-Informed Social Worker Role
Join Jewish Family and Child Service as a Social Worker to address trauma within the Jewish community. Use your skills in counseling and support to help those affected by hate-based incidents.

This full-time position demands expertise in crisis intervention, psychoeducation, and community outreach. You'll provide direct clinical services that empower individuals and families while advocating for their needs.

Your role will prominently feature anti-oppressive practices to ensure culturally sensitive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer crisis intervention and safety planning services

• Facilitate individual and group-based therapy sessions

• Support clients with referrals to community resources

• Develop supportive psycho educational initiatives

• Maintain documentation in line with agency standards

Requirements:

• MSW or equivalent mandatory

• Minimum 2–3 years in trauma-focused therapy

• Registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers

• Understanding of antisemitism and intergenerational trauma

• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills
