Within this critical role, you will support at-risk individuals and survivors of sex trafficking through effective outreach initiatives and individual case management. The position requires developing relationships with community members, educating service providers, and empowering Indigenous youth with culturally relevant support. You'll work closely with a dedicated team to identify and improve service gaps through collaborative programming.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking
• Facilitate outreach programs and workshops
• Develop relationships with community stakeholders
• Educate service providers on human trafficking issues
• Co-create culturally relevant group activities
Requirements:
• BSW degree with 1-2 years relevant experience preferred
• Lived experience and understanding of Indigenous worldviews
• Knowledge of human trafficking and harm reduction
• Skills in counseling and crisis intervention
• Ability to work independently and in a team
Utilize your skills to empower youth and support survivors in the Indigenous community at NCFST.
