Social Worker in Mood Disorders

Position: Social Worker 2 in Mood Disorders
Become part of the Mood and Anxiety Service at CAMH as a Social Worker
2. This full-time role allows you to deliver impactful group-based psychotherapy and contribute to client-centered care.

As a temporary Social Worker for one year, your responsibilities will include coordinating care and performing behavioral assessments to support individuals with mood and anxiety disorders. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you'll apply your knowledge of crisis intervention and recovery-oriented practices to enhance the treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver structured group psychotherapy for clients and families

• Conduct assessments and coordinate care with team members

• Apply crisis intervention knowledge in treatment planning

• Provide supervision to social work students

• Monitor client progress and document findings accurately

Requirements:

• Master of Social Work degree and registration in Ontario

• At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience

• Experience with group-based psychotherapy required

• Knowledge of CAMH and community resources

• Strong organizational and computer skills
