Position: Fairview Settlement Worker Role
Work as a Settlement Worker with Newcomer Women's Services in Fairview, ON, offering essential support to newcomers adjusting to life in Canada. In this full-time, in-person role, you will empower clients to overcome barriers in their settlement journey.

Starting July 2, 2026, this temporary position is ideal for those passionate about community service. Your responsibilities include assessing client needs, providing referrals, and facilitating group workshops to support diverse client populations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial to foster trust and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct needs assessments and provide necessary referrals

• Organize and facilitate workshops for clients

• Implement outreach plans to promote services

• Support clients with intake forms and translation assistance

• Track client progress and monitor outcomes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in settlement services

• Proficiency in a second language is necessary

• Familiarity with the challenges faced by asylum seekers

• Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle
