Position: Placement Specialist for Employment Services
Enhance career connections as a Placement Specialist at The Career Foundation, working from the Etobicoke Employment Centre. Focus on matching job-ready clients with employer needs in the community.

This one-year contract role emphasizes employer engagement and job development to secure sustainable employment for clients. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders while managing relationships to promote IES, ensuring clients are job-ready for opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Match clients to suitable jobs based on skills

• Engage with employers to identify hiring needs

• Promote IES program benefits to local businesses

• Organize employer engagement activities like hiring fairs

• Conduct outreach to build a network with employers

Requirements:

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in relevant fields

• Two years of experience in job development or employer engagement

• Valid Ontario G driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
