The E-VIBE initiative seeks skilled candidates to work within the Children & Youth Services department. You will track and analyze online behaviors linked to violence, facilitate community workshops, and collaborate closely with local networks. Your expertise will contribute to innovative strategies aimed at creating safer online environments for youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete EVIBE E-Mediator training thoroughly
• Address and de-escalate online violence issues
• Monitor online emotional distress and intimidation
• Track trending violence-related language and behaviors
• Collaborate on community workshop facilitation
Requirements:
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms
• Lived experience of community violence
• Understanding of historical community violence context
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Must have Microsoft Office proficiency
Utilize your background in conflict resolution and community service to make a positive impact on youth safety at TNG.
