Red Door is seeking an Outreach Worker with a commitment to advocacy and support for vulnerable populations. You will plan and implement the Housing and Outreach Transitional Support Program while providing crucial services such as crisis intervention, housing support, and educational upgrades. This full-time role emphasizes your ability to work collaboratively within a dedicated team, focusing on the safety and welfare of clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create person-centered safety and transition plans

• Provide crisis intervention coaching for women

• Facilitate client meetings to assess emerging needs

• Maintain confidentiality and accurate client records

• Offer referrals to comprehensive community resources

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Social Work or equivalent

• 2 years’ experience with women and children facing violence

• Training in Trauma Informed Care and Case Management

• Understanding of harm reduction principles

• Excellent communication and organizational skills
