Position: Community Support Case Worker Role

The Salvation Army seeks a dedicated individual to provide consultation, referrals, and case management to residents facing challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting evaluations, assisting with housing goals, and connecting residents to vital community resources. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct intake interviews with residents and assess their needs

• Provide tailored case management in line with strategic goals

• Assist residents in setting personal goals and housing plans

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of case documentation

• Engage in community meetings and represent Gateway positively

Requirements:

• Diploma in social services or psychology preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in mental health/addiction fields

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Certification in First Aid/CPR required

• Clean criminal record check and Hostel Standards Training is beneficial
