This role requires 35 hours per week, focusing on providing comprehensive support and services to residents aged 16+. As part of a collaborative team, you will engage in case management and workshop development grounded in understanding trauma and oppression. Strong interpersonal skills will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and apply support strategies addressing trauma

• Deliver daily assistance and essential services to residents

• Conduct risk assessments to maintain a safe environment

• Use mediation skills to foster a supportive community

• Assist clients with applications for housing programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in related field; experience considered

• 3-5 years in counseling and group facilitation for at-risk individuals

• Training in trauma-informed care and harm reduction

• Strong knowledge of local resources for mental health support

• Ability to communicate effectively in a multicultural setting
