Developmental Service Worker

Springboard seeks a passionate Developmental Service Worker for the Transitional Aged Youth Home in Toronto, ON. This part-time role focuses on empowering youth with developmental disabilities to achieve personal goals and promote independence.

As part of a collaborative team, you will help design individualized support plans while working with clients transitioning from child welfare.

Your role includes providing therapeutic interventions, developing life skills, and ensuring community engagement, part of Springboard’s mission to foster personal growth and community integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate to develop individual goal plans

• Support service delivery based on unique needs

• Facilitate life skills programs independently or in groups

• Conduct community outings and recreational activities

• Manage crisis situations effectively and compassionately

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Social/Developmental Services

• Minimum two years' relevant experience

• Strong knowledge of developmental service practices

• Valid First Aid and CPI certifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
