In this client-centered position, you will provide front-line support within supportive housing programs. The role requires working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to promote life skills, manage crisis situations, and connect clients to essential community resources. Utilizing trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practices, you will encourage personal goal achievement among residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individualized, trauma-informed support for residents
• Conduct wellness assessments and client check-ins
• Support personal goal development in housing and health
• Respond to crisis situations and ensure client safety
• Collaborate with service providers and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Work or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in Mental Health or Supportive Housing
• Crisis intervention skills and problem-solving abilities
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Vulnerable Police Sector check clearance
