Awake Youth Worker

Position: Awake Youth Worker Role
Transform lives as an Awake Overnight Youth Worker with Turning Point Youth Services in Toronto. Support youth through direct care while promoting a safe and inclusive environment.

In this full-time position, you'll work overnight to assist youth aged 12 to 18 in improving their mental health.

Your role involves utilizing a relationship-based approach, engaging with families, and performing various administrative duties for smooth program operation. Experience in youth justice is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish therapeutic relationships with clients

• Promote youth and family engagement within programs

• Maintain records in compliance with privacy policies

• Oversee program financials and property upkeep

• Assist in meal preparation as necessary

Requirements:

• College degree in Child & Youth Work or relevant fields

• Experience in congregate care or similar environments

• Certification in First Aid/CPR and aggression management

• Good communication and computer skills

• Experience with marginalised communities is an asset
