Anti-Human Trafficking Youth Worker Position

Support youth in need at Covenant House Toronto as a part-time Anti-Human Trafficking Youth Worker. Provide crisis intervention and personal advocacy for at-risk individuals.

In this rewarding role, you will engage with young people facing significant challenges and work to promote their safety and development. Covenant House Toronto is the largest agency in Canada for supporting homeless and trafficked youth, making your contribution crucial. You will help those who have experienced trauma by providing informed care and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and establish safety plans

• Intervene during crisis situations effectively

• Support nightly routines and hygiene for youth

• Promote community inclusion and personal goal setting

• Document all interactions and maintain safety logs

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in child and youth work

• Minimum of two years in a residential or shelter environment

• Knowledge of adolescent developmental issues

• Certification in First Aid, CPR preferred

• Strong assessment and intervention skills
