This full-time position requires working directly with at-risk youth in a live-in environment. You'll employ a strengths-based approach, conducting assessments and implementing interventions while upholding agency values of equity and respect. A background in child and youth care is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote youth engagement and family inclusion
• Assess client needs with a developmental lens
• Deliver direct care and supervise clients daily
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance
• Facilitate recreational programs effectively
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in Child and Youth Work
• A year of experience in a live-in care setting
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and UMAB required
• Strong judgment and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to connect with diverse populations
