As a Case Manager, you will lead case management for newcomer youth, advocating for their needs and guiding them through settlement services. A profound understanding of the barriers faced by immigrant and refugee youth will be vital. You will utilize a trauma-informed, client-centered approach in your work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage with youth, providing ongoing case management support
• Collaboratively assess needs and develop personalized case plans
• Coordinate safety plans addressing mental health and immigration concerns
• Mentor and oversee the case management team’s efforts
• Maintain professional standards in case documentation practices
Requirements:
• BSW or MSW degree with at least 5 years of experience
• Preference for experience with refugee and immigrant youth
• Knowledge of immigration systems and related barriers
• Commitment to anti-oppressive and trauma-informed practices
• Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
