In this full-time position, you will address challenges faced by Indigenous youth through effective program delivery and community support. You’ll be expected to develop and run life skills and cultural workshops, while maintaining key relationships with community resources. Your efforts will directly enhance the lives of youth and provide pathways to their success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate direct services to Indigenous youth
• Implement culturally relevant drop-in service delivery
• Report and maintain data accurately for funding purposes
• Conduct community outreach and attend events
• Provide nutritious food during youth programming
Requirements:
• Degree or coursework in Child and Youth Work
• Deep understanding of Indigenous culture experiences
• Strong communication, organizational and reporting skills
• Knowledge of developmental stages of youth
• Consent to current vulnerable sector screening
Help forge opportunities and support family-focused initiatives for Indigenous youth at NCFST.
