Overnight Shift Supervisor at Covenant House

Take the lead as an Overnight Shift Supervisor with Covenant House, overseeing residential care and team management from 10:30pm to 8:30am. This full-time position ensures safety, training, and support for youth and staff.

Covenant House is seeking a Full Time, Permanent Overnight Shift Supervisor. In this awake overnight role, you will manage approximately 5 full-time and 8 part-time staff while implementing the organization's philosophy and policies. Your responsibilities include overseeing safety, conducting staff training, and addressing case management issues for our youth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily shift operations and staff supervision

• Oversee training and onboarding for new team members

• Ensure safety and security of the building and youth

• Conduct employee interviews and evaluations

• Manage intake, discharge, and case management issues

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in child and youth work or equivalent

• 4+ years in a shelter or residential setting

• 3+ years in a supervisory role

• Knowledge of adolescent issues and developmental theory

• Excellent communication and crisis intervention skills
