Red Door Overnight Support Worker

Work as an Overnight Support Worker at Red Door, ensuring resident safety and providing integral support in a Gender Based Violence Shelter. Engage actively with families during your shifts, which span 35 hours per week.

This full-time position is essential for maintaining a secure living environment for clients in need. Your responsibilities include conducting resident intakes and providing assistance with daily living tasks. Join a dedicated team focused on advocacy and client care in a community setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor building security and respond to emergencies

• Assist clients with their transition and daily living situations

• Document case progress and prepare necessary reports

• Prepare rooms for new intakes and organize the office

• Keep communal areas tidy and assist with laundry as needed

Requirements:

• Related social services diploma or equivalent experience

• Proven commitment to client service excellence

• Capability to manage difficult situations and de-escalate conflict

• Initiative and teamwork in a multidisciplinary environment

• Ability to complete mandatory training such as CPR
