Your role will focus on housing stability and harm reduction within a collaborative environment.
As a part-time Housing Support Worker, you will deliver client-centered support to enhance wellbeing and stability for residents. Key responsibilities include conducting wellness assessments, life skills development, and crisis intervention. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will advocate for clients' access to essential resources and promote self-sufficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma-informed support for housing stability
• Conduct client wellness assessments and support planning
• Assist clients in achieving personal goals and decision-making
• Identify and address crisis situations promptly
• Collaborate with community resources and maintain documentation
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in mental health and supportive housing
• Skills in supportive counseling and crisis intervention
• Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
• First Aid/CPR certification required
