Position: Part-Time Child & Youth Worker CAMH
Enhance your career working as a part-time Child and Youth Worker in the Concurrent Youth Unit s temporary position focuses on youth with addiction and mental health challenges.

Join the Child, Youth & Emerging Adult Program within the Child, Youth and Family Services. In this role, you will assess clients, create care plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions like Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Your contributions directly support adolescent recovery and development during this crucial 9-month period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct client and environmental assessments as needed

• Implement care plans and intervention strategies

• Facilitate groups and provide family support

• Deliver crisis prevention and trauma-informed care

• Liaise with community agencies to coordinate care

Requirements:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Care required

• Membership in the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Counsellors

• Experience with concurrent disordered youth

• Strong facilitation and communication skills

• Bilingualism or proficiency in a second language is an asset
