As a Housing Support Worker, you will offer frontline assistance to women and gender-diverse individuals.
Your role will center on promoting housing stability through trauma-informed support, life skills development, and crisis intervention. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to connect clients with essential community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide trauma-informed support and housing stability
• Conduct wellness assessments and support planning
• Encourage decision-making participation among clients
• Identify and respond to crisis situations promptly
• Collaborate with case managers and service providers
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• 3 years of experience in Mental Health or Substance Use
• Strong crisis intervention and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities
• First Aid/CPR certification required
