Position: Full-Time Youth Worker at Covenant House
Make a difference in the lives of youth at Covenant House as a Full-Time Youth Worker. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed support and guidance within residential services.

As a Youth Worker in the Resident Services Department, you will engage with up to 10 youth, assessing their needs from a holistic perspective. Your innovative plans will tailor support and facilitate life skills development while connecting youth to valuable community resources. With both daytime and evening shifts available, flexibility is essential for this permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess physical and emotional needs of youth

• Develop individual support plans with clients

• Facilitate life skills and recreational activities

• Connect youth to community resources

• Provide individual counseling and behavior management

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in child and youth work

• Minimum two years residential experience

• Trauma-informed care expertise

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• First Aid and CPR certification
