Shape the future of community health as a Board Member at Flemingdon Health Centre. This volunteer role requires expertise in governance, strategic leadership, and community advocacy.
Flemingdon Health Centre is looking for passionate individuals to join its Board of Directors. Your contributions will focus on strategic oversight, financial sustainability, and ensuring compliance with governance policies. Engage with stakeholders and promote health equity by representing diverse community needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee organizational performance and compliance
• Contribute to FHC’s strategic plan development
• Approve budgets and financial statements
• Serve on various Board committees as needed
• Support community relationships as an ambassador
Requirements:
• Must be over 18 and eligible for FHC membership
• Complete a standard screening process
• Background in legal, finance, HR, or fundraising
• Commitment to anti-racism and equity principles
• Understanding of the health needs of diverse communities
Advise, lead, and advocate for equitable health services as part of FHC’s Board.
