Native Child is seeking a committed professional for its team to provide holistic and culturally responsive assessments, crisis interventions, and family support services. The role demands a Bachelor of Social Work, relevant experience, and extensive knowledge of Indigenous cultures and child welfare protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of children's immediate safety
• Intervene in crisis situations as necessary
• Facilitate consultations with service providers
• Evaluate and revise care plans regularly
• Advocate for timely and culturally appropriate services
Requirements:
• B.S.W. with 2 years’ experience in child and family wellbeing
• Understanding of Indigenous Peoples' history and culture
• Valid Driver’s License is required
• Ability to provide acceptable Child Welfare Check
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Contribute to a supportive, culturally responsive environment while advancing the well-being of children and families in Toronto.
