Position: Youth Education and Employment Worker Role
Become an Indigenous Youth Education and Employment Drop-In Worker with Native Child and Family Services in Toronto. Help youth thrive through education and culturally-based workshops.

This full-time, unionized contract position focuses on providing holistic support to Indigenous youth, ages 16-29. You will facilitate life skills, employment workshops, and educational resources tailored to their needs.

Your role includes liaising with colleges and community agencies while advocating for their rights and access to necessary services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support youth in reaching their full potential

• Run workshops for education and life skills development

• Coordinate with colleges for certified courses

• Maintain comprehensive case files and reports

• Provide guidance on resumes and job applications

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education in social services

• Two years of experience in youth work

• Knowledge of Indigenous cultural issues

• Excellent communication skills with youth

• Satisfactory Criminal and Child Welfare Checks needed
