In this permanent full-time position, you’ll engage with children and families, conduct assessments, and facilitate crisis interventions. A Bachelor of Social Work and a deep understanding of Indigenous cultures are important for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather information and assess children’s safety
• Develop relationships to support family assessments
• Participate in case conferences and planning
• Liaise for service coordination and advocacy
• Facilitate ongoing contact between children and families
Requirements:
• B.S.W. from an accredited university
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Child, Youth, and Family Services Act
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable vehicle
• Demonstrated understanding of workplace Health and Safety
