Lead impactful community programs as the Project Lead for Today’s Flowers Tomorrow’s Fruits (TFTF) at TAIBU Community Health Centre. Drive initiatives focusing on anti-Black racism, holistic care, and community resilience.
This full-time position is crucial for implementing TFTF’s objectives through an Afrocentric approach. You will guide the development of policies, ensure alignment with TAIBU’s health model, and support community engagement strategies.
Your role fosters a culturally affirming environment to enhance the educational experiences of Black children and youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the TFTF project aligned with TAIBU’s mission
• Promote a holistic, client-centered approach emphasizing anti-Black racism
• Oversee community program funding reports and staff hiring
• Collaborate with managerial teams to align activities
• Facilitate problem resolution among staff members
Requirements:
• Post-graduate degree in Health Sciences or relevant field
• 3–5 years of community program delivery experience
• Knowledge of anti-Black racism and Afrocentric values
• Strong communication and conflict management skills
• French language proficiency is a significant asset
