Become a Live-In Treatment Child and Youth Practitioner at Strides Toronto. Provide essential support for young survivors of trafficking in a 24/7 care environment.
In this casual role, you will be part of the Anti-Human Trafficking program, delivering therapeutic interventions to female survivors aged 12-17. Your responsibilities will include supervision, care coordination, and compliance with licensing standards. You'll also work collaboratively with a dedicated team to enhance client well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support clients' daily functioning
• Implement therapeutic plans with the Integrated Care Coordinator
• Organize meetings for effective client programming
• Contribute to a safe residential environment for clients
• Complete necessary safety and administrative documentation
Requirements:
• CYW/CYC Diploma or Degree necessary
• At least one year working with complex youth
• Knowledge of anti-oppressive and inclusive practices
• Skills in self-care and setting professional boundaries
• Awareness of trauma and resilience factors
