Addictions Caseworker

The Salvation Army is seeking an Addictions Caseworker to provide care for individuals on conditional release from Federal Correctional Institutions. You will work within a team to manage a caseload of up to 18 residents, conducting assessments, developing individualized goals, and facilitating group programming. This role also requires maintaining confidentiality and participating in evaluations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support parolees through ongoing assessments and reviews
• Develop comprehensive recovery goal plans with clients
• Facilitate relapse prevention group sessions for residents
• Conduct evaluations with the Assistant Director when necessary
• Manage resident file confidentiality per policies
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years in social services or corrections
• Bachelor's degree required (e.g., BA, BSc)
• First Aid and CPR certifications needed
• Experience with concurrent disorders and addiction
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
