Relief Client Support Worker

In this role, you will work primarily with the Homeless and Harm Reduction team, interacting with those who face significant barriers to health care. A solid understanding of trauma, crisis intervention, and community resources is essential for success in this position. Your impact will directly relate to assisting vulnerable clients while upholding a safe and respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with vulnerable populations accessing health services

• Facilitate client navigation through available programs

• Conduct behavioral de-escalation for crisis management

• Support Intake Worker when needed

• Manage scheduling and basic administrative duties

Requirements:

• Relevant undergraduate degree or significant post-secondary education

• 3-5 years of community setting experience

• Proven knowledge of harm reduction and community resources

• Ability to speak another language is a plus

• Ideal candidates may have personal lived experiences related to the role
