Position: General Counsellor for Social Services
COSTI is inviting applications for a General Counsellor role aimed at aiding individuals facing homelessness and newcomers. This full-time job operates 35 hours per week, emphasizing counselling and community support.

As a General Counsellor, you will perform initial assessments to identify client needs and formulate case plans. You will provide crisis intervention services and connect clients to various social resources, ensuring their integration into the community. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess initial client needs and provide crisis interventions

• Develop and document personalized case plans

• Connect clients to health, income, and employment resources

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or equivalent experience

• A minimum of one year in settlement and counselling roles

• Skills in documentation and service delivery

• Effective communication and organizational abilities

• Valid First Aid/CPR and Naloxone certifications
