Transformational Housing Support Worker

Become a Housing Support Worker at Jean Tweed Centre, committed to empowering women and supporting their journey to stability in Toronto. This part-time role supports crisis intervention and life skills development.

You will provide essential, trauma-informed support to residents, assisting with wellness assessments, personal goal achievement, and housing retention. Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will engage clients in decision-making and support their integration into community services. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized client support to enhance wellbeing

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma in Social Work or similar

• 3 years experience in mental health and housing support

• Proven crisis intervention and problem-solving abilities

• Competency in technology for documentation

• First Aid/CPR certification is required
