Covenant Youth Worker

Position: Covenant House Youth Worker Role
Become a Youth Worker at Covenant House, where you'll help at-risk youth navigate challenges and develop life skills. This full-time, permanent position is onsite and includes varied shift hours.

As a key member of the Resident Services Department, you'll directly implement Covenant House’s mission by assessing and addressing the needs of youth within a supportive environment. You're expected to foster individual growth through targeted plans, recreational activities, and community resource connections. Shifts will vary, so flexible availability is needed for approximately 24/7 support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing individual support plans

• Monitor daily routines and ensure safety

• Conduct intake interviews and case documentation

• Connect youth with helpful community resources

• Provide behavioral support and crisis management

Requirements:

• Relevant college degree or diploma

• Minimum two years in a shelter environment

• Familiar with trauma-informed practices

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and documentation

• First Aid and CPR certification
