Position: Youth Support Worker - Covenant House Resident Services
Become a Youth Support Worker at Covenant House, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable youth through direct, onsite care. This full-time position focuses on trauma-informed practices to create safe environments.

In this role within the Resident Services Department, you will work directly with youth, conducting assessments and facilitating life skills development. The position involves collaborating with case managers and ensuring that proper resources are accessed to support each individual. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes both day and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify youth needs and goals

• Develop and implement tailored support plans

• Engage youth in both individual and group activities

• Monitor daily routines and ensure safety protocols

• Document progress, conduct intake interviews, and manage discharges

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in child and youth care

• Two years' experience in residential youth services

• Knowledge of street youth issues and community resources

• Certification in First Aid and CPR

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
