Position: Child and Youth Practitioner for Anti-Trafficking Program
Strides Toronto is hiring a Live-In Treatment Child and Youth Practitioner to provide essential support for young female survivors of trafficking. This full-time contract role offers impactful, hands-on care.

The practitioner will serve within the Anti-Human Trafficking program, working directly with youth ages 12-17. You'll be responsible for facilitating assessments, therapeutic treatments, and overall client support in a 24/7 residential environment. This position emphasizes an evidence-informed approach to client care, enabling youth to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise clients to promote health and well-being

• Implement client-centered care aligned with therapeutic goals

• Attend and contribute to client-focused meetings

• Maintain safety standards in the residential setting

• Complete necessary health and safety documentation

Requirements:

• Required CYW/CYC Diploma or Degree

• Minimum one year relevant experience with complex youth

• Strong boundaries and self-care competencies

• Awareness of diversity and inclusion within supported communities

• Ability to recognize dynamics of power relations
