Position: Part Time Residential Care Worker with Salvation Army

As a Residential Care Worker, you will be the first point of contact for clients and the public at The Salvation Army's Harbour Light Centre. This role requires supervising client interactions, responding to inquiries, and maintaining records accurately. Your dedication to client care, safety procedures, and communication will be essential for success in this impactful position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise clients during assigned shifts to ensure safety

• Respond to questions and maintain Centre policies

• Record daily events and manage incident reports

• Liaise with agencies such as Ministry of Health and Police

• Monitor client medication and assist with intake and discharge

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in human services field

• Experience in social services or addictions setting

• WHMIS, CPR/First Aid training preferred

• Part time availability on weekends and holidays

• Strong communication and documentation skills
