As part of the Housing & Homelessness Services Unit, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of housing sites. Your efforts in property management and community programming will contribute significantly to tenant wellbeing and empowerment. By implementing an eviction prevention model, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining housing stability for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer rent-geared-to-income calculations for tenants
• Conduct assessments to identify tenant needs and issues
• Facilitate tenant engagement in community building and standards
• Mediate conflicts and provide crisis intervention support
• Collaborate in developing programs that foster community interaction
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Services or similar
• Minimum of 2 years working with vulnerable populations
• Familiarity with housing legislation and tenant rights
• Experience in crisis resolution and advocacy
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective support
