Become a vital part of the Youth Justice team as a full-time Social Worker/Registered Therapist 1 s role focuses on early intervention strategies within youth criminal courts.
The Social Worker/Registered Therapist 1 operates the Early Intervention Program across Niagara's courts. You will establish effective connections with youth and community resources, screen and triage cases, and develop actionable service plans. Conducting Choice and Partnership appointments will also be part of your responsibilities in implementing the CAPA model.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Early Intervention Program in youth criminal courts
• Screen and triage youth, identifying issues and concerns
• Develop and implement tailored service plans
• Conduct CAPA appointments to support youth
• Foster connections with community resources and services
Requirements:
• B.S.W. or related field
• Registered Social Worker or Psychotherapist
• 3-4 years of clinical experience
• Experience in evidence-based interventions
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police Record Check
