As a Residence Counsellor, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Residence to create a safe and supportive environment for students.
Your role will involve mentoring students, ensuring their safety during overnight hours, and administering necessary care. This is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic working environment and loves fostering personal growth in youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with students
• Ensure overall student safety during residence activities
• Aid in the daily routines of boarding students
• Encourage healthy social interactions and independent choices
• Document medications and maintain care compliance
Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum two years’ experience with children and youth
• Valid First Aid and CPR Level C certification
• Excellent communication and judgement skills
• Ability to handle emergencies calmly and effectively
