In this position, you will promote both safety and therapeutic relationships, actively participating in meaningful life skills programs. Working on-site, you’ll utilize a strengths-based framework to assess mental health needs, ensuring a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote a therapeutic environment for youth
• Assess mental health needs on a developmental basis
• Maintain timely documentation as per agency standards
• Facilitate life skills and recreational activities
• Support youth engagement and family involvement
Requirements:
• College degree in Child & Youth Work or related fields
• Experience in congregate care preferred
• Communication and administrative skills essential
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention
• Valid Ontario G driver's license is an asset
