Full Time Intervenor for Deafblind Support

Be the vital link between the world and individuals who are deafblind with Sensity in Etobicoke. This full-time Intervenor role supports daily living and communication to promote independence.

Sensity is looking for a passionate Intervenor to join our dedicated team serving the deafblind community. This position entails providing essential support in personal care, communication, and day-to-day activities. You will empower individuals to live fully and independently while enhancing your skills through our comprehensive training program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individuals in home and community settings

• Utilize communication techniques effectively

• Empower individuals in daily living tasks

• Provide personal care as needed

• Assist in goal-setting and program development

Requirements:

• College diploma in a related human services field

• Experience with developmental disabilities and mental health

• Proficiency in ASL or SEE communication

• Valid Class G driver's license and reliable vehicle

• Strong communication skills in English
