Developmental Service Worker

Support transitional aged youth as a Developmental Service Worker at Springboard in Toronto, ON. This full-time role combines needs analysis, program development, and crisis management in a supportive living environment.

Join Springboard's Developmental Services team, working directly with youth facing developmental disabilities. This position focuses on fostering independence by supporting individual goals, coordinating therapeutic programming, and building community connections. Experience in a trauma-informed approach is essential to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with individuals to develop personalized goal plans

• Support service delivery for effective independent living transitions

• Facilitate life skills programming both individually and in groups

• Ensure appropriate care and emotional support are provided

• Guide Junior Developmental Service Workers in program delivery

Requirements:

• Post-secondary diploma in Social Services or Developmental Services

• Minimum two years of relevant experience with developmental disabilities

• Valid First Aid and CPI certifications required

• Strong computer skills in MS Office applications

• Knowledge of the Developmental Services Sector
