ACCT is looking for a client-focused Settlement Counselor with a passion for community service. In this role, you will conduct needs assessments, develop personalized settlement plans, and provide referral services to essential community resources such as healthcare, housing, and employment. Your success will depend on your ability to facilitate group workshops and conduct outreach within the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual and family assessments using standardized templates
• Develop personalized plans for accessing essential services
• Facilitate community resource referrals for settlement needs
• Maintain accurate case notes and client records
• Deliver group orientation sessions on key settlement topics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum two years providing direct client services
• Knowledge of immigrant and refugee settlement challenges
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience with databases and reporting systems
Support newcomer integration and make a meaningful impact in the community with ACCT as a Settlement Counselor.
