Part-Time Developmental Service Worker

Support transitional aged youth in Toronto with Springboard as a part-time Developmental Service Worker. Focus on individual goals and independent living skills in a collaborative, supportive environment.

This part-time position in Springboard's Developmental Services team involves working hands-on with youth and adults with developmental disabilities. You will conduct needs analysis, deliver therapeutic programming, and facilitate life skills training that aligns with individual needs. The role requires proactive involvement in community integration and crisis management to enhance individuals' abilities to live independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with individuals to set and achieve personalized goals

• Support and deliver services based on identified needs

• Develop and implement life skills programming

• Assist in community outings and recreational activities

• Ensure crisis management strategies are followed

Requirements:

• Diploma in Social Services or related field

• Two years of experience in developmental services

• Valid First Aid and CPI Certifications

• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
