Crisis Intervention Housing Worker

Join Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre as a Crisis Intervention Housing Worker in Toronto. Provide on-site support to residents through individualized crisis intervention and housing stabilization strategies.

This role, based at 1011 Lansdowne Avenue, focuses on assisting tenants with complex challenges, such as mental health and substance use issues. Key Responsibilities:

• Complete intake assessments and document client needs

• Deliver on-site case management using harm reduction

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in social work or a related field

• 2 years of experience with vulnerable populations

• Training in de-escalation techniques

• Familiarity with community resources in Toronto

• Strong organizational and communication skills
